  Jw kids setting off fire alarms in hotels

  a friend of mine is staying at a hotel next to one of the big convention sites this weekend.

  yesterday she tells me one of the hotels had to be evacuated and the fire brigade called when the fire alarm went off.. it turned out to be a bunch of jw kids having a prank.

  she had been speaking to the hotel manager who told her that this happens every year and only when the jw's come to stay!.

  Why don't they pull the fire alarm at the assembly??? That would be one way to pass the time, lol

  The Assembly is the place where they spend hour upon hour under the influence of a high control group where day upon day they subtly yet systematically are taught to think more highly of themselves than is normal and to look down upon and to disregard "worldly" people and their organizations. They've built up such a level of physical and mental energy and frustration that it has to explode in some form or another. They are able to unleash it upon those who they feel are deserving and in this case the hotel staff is their first contact with non Witnesses authority all day.

  I Made the Literature Trolley Run Away Today - Twice

  i popped into town this morning to buy an anniversary card for mrs cofty.

  it is market day on a saturday and it's tourist season so the town was very busy.

  here is a picture of the scene from a year ago... two cult carts were in their favourite place being guarded by none other than one of the elders who was on my judicial committee, his wife and another jw woman in her electric disability buggy.

  Funny story....the Mrs and I had a good laugh about the woman popping a wheelie in her scooter and practically mowing down the pedestrians on the sidewalk in her effort to scurry away from you. I've had similar reactions myself at my own front door or when I've encountered JW's "preaching" in public places.
  

  Part of me feels sorry for these folks because I was once in their shoes. They get so upset because none of their beliefs are provable and on some level they know this, even though they've been convinced otherwise by their weekly indoctrination sessions (aka meetings).

  Everything you said to them was true and therein lies the problem. Plain truth and the light of day are a direct threat to everything they've built their lives upon and upon which their psychological stability is resting. At this point they need to believe fairy tales, just to keep going. It's very sad to see this from the other side now that I've done the hard work and paid the consequences of having broken through it myself.

  mr vincent toole, he gets 3 meals a day his accommodation, daily exercise & a degree to be a lawyer.

  they are asking for kids ice-cream money so they can send their monkeys to uni to get them off child abuse cases, while telling the ones giving the money not to get a higher education.

  holy shit i never thought about that before.

  When I was in Bethel one of my friends was a new JW convert who had recently graduated from college. We worked side by side in the factory until one day he was told that he would be assigned to the Legal Department and sent to law school. They passed the rest of us over because we had listened to their advice to to Pioneer and pursue Bethel service instead of pursuing a higher education. Instead, they chose someone who was recently "part of the wicked world" to invest the time and money on educating instead of one of those who had spent their entire life following their direction.

  anyone watching the inquiry would have heard the org's attorney asking that the documents outlining the stucture and mechanics of the wbts be kept confidential.

  all this subversive and clandestine behavior is not helping their image.

  what do you all suppose is potentially damnimg in these documents?

  They insist on confidentiality because they aren't confident that their actions and policies are being directed by Jehovah. If they were confident in Jehovah, they'd lay their cards on the table and trust that Jehovah would make sure things turned out in his/their favor.

  just jotting this down while it's fresh in my mind.. joe= apparently they have got issues over in australia at the moment with sex abuse, and this time the government got involved.. dad=yeah they mentioned this at the assembly last weekend.

  apparently so they said all religions and organisations are been investigated.

  joe= kind of seems funny how the only 2 religious groups been interviewed so far are the catholics and jws.

  Yes, and I suppose it was Satan who caused the GB to make policies that covered up the pedophiles amongst themselves rather than go to the Police as the law reqires.

  someone please tell me how or if i can find proof that the rumor [that is pasted below] that was posted by a friend [still in, but should know better] on my face book page is false, [which of course we all know it is,] this makes me so angry, i have to stick my neck out and comment on this post but need something to back me up....anyone want to enlighten me where this got started?

  i need proof he never said such a thing, it seems to me its false.

  whats interesting is this, the bible in the photo accompanying the statement below is the latest version.... [photo].

  my wife and i planned on fading but the elders now want a shepherding call and we are just done.

  i know that many play the game to try to stay in, but i'm not a game player and neither is my wife.

  our families already shun us because we reached out to a disfellowshipped family member.

  I've read some D.A. letters on this site where they mentioned at the end of the letter that if any sort of public announcement is made, there will be legal consequences to deal with. That might be something you could add in order to minimize the outfall somewhat. But I'm with you ....get it over instead of having to sneak around and continue to be under their watchful eyes.

  i felt it might be a good idea to post this so that sitting on the fence jw's or jw lurkers can see that this australia jw child abuse news of 1,006 jw child molesters not being reported to police by elders is a reality that has hit mainstream news media.

  He doesn't know me from Adam and I'd just say that we have a list of random people we are E-mailing . Of course he may figure out that you put me up to it, so I don't know. Yeah...you're probably right but thanks for the offer.

  The JW's may not be talking about it in the U.S. here right now- but in my 4 county area I'm going to WORK at getting them to talk about it very soon in a very REAL way. Peace out, Mr. Flippers I'd have flyered our old Hall a long time ago but they have a gate and a security camera.

  I wish more people in the U.S knew about this. As far as I can tell no one is talking about it in my area.
  

  I'd love it if someone from this fourm would send an anonymous email to my brother with the links to the hearings. I can't do it myself...he'd know it was me.
  

  If we all did this for each other, the word would get out.
